SolutionI checked on SMH V 2.1.2.127 on a Proliant running w2k3 and it has the "Send Test Trap" is available their as explained, maybe update your agents and SMH.
If your SMTP host is properly configured, you will get this kind of email message:
--------------------------------------------
The system has detected the following event:
SNMP Trap: 11003
Date time: 05/04/2006 08:41:08 AM
Computer: xxxxx
Source: Foundation Agents
Type: Informational
Category: (4)
Description: A 'Generic Trap' provides a mechanism for sending a trap with all information embedded in the trap text.
Details:Management Agents Test Trap sent - Thursday, May 04, 2006 8:41:08 AM
