Trouble installing HPmouse (Screen settings)

Hi!

I have troubles installing the hpmouse. Hardware/Software:
Bl465c G1
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

The installation works fine, even the activation, but when i restart X, the Xserver goes fubar. I have to "reconfigure the X server" but nothing happens.

Are there any settings or packages ive missed? The default setting is 800x600 for some reason.

We also have SuSE 10 SP1 installed wich works like a charm!

I tried to install the psp-7.91.rehl5 wich failed until i edited the /etc/redhat-release. Still, I got an error saying "No supported bundle XML found to use for this installation"

Hope anybody can help!
