Trying to download PSP / SPP , failing miserably... have active warranty.

Should I be able to download the SPP with the following warranty?  I have tried multiple ways of getting to the "obtain software" part when trying to get SPP only to see a little lock icon next to it and be told

Support validation required

An active warranty or support agreement covering HP Proliant servers must be linked to your HP Support Center profile to access this application.

My account has 2 devices added, both show the warranty info below, I unfortunately have no documentation from their purchase as they were donated to us, but needless to say this is rather frustrating. Maybe the answer is that the warranty on this hardware is not good enough, but I would expect HP's website to be lot more specific about this..

Hi,

The problem could be due to HP seperation.

Try this portal and register your products again.

www.hp.com/Go/HPeSC

Thank You!

I suppose I don't know how to register my products, when I log into that portal it shows 2 active warranties, it shows the 2 server serial numbers etc.. it looks "fine" to me, but I'm new to this and could be missing something obvious.

this is what i see..  is warranty good enough to download SPP? OR do I need a linked support agreement/care pack?

Linked warranties will allow you to download the SPP, are you sure you are logged in using your Passport account when you are attempting to download?  What URL are you using?

Pretty sure I'm logged in, it shows me signed in and if I"m not it prompts me to first sign in. I've done this dance dozen times now :)

I Tried this specific SPP https://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?idx=&action=driverDocument&itemLocale=&swItemId=MTX_cd2a06e0e3984d8fac09731197&mode=

to which I got from here http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/spp/index.aspx

When I click obtain software it tells me..

and wants me to go to contracts & warranties.
