Ok,

I was kind of hoping that Jim would have a dig around. Teaching RAID technology and terminology over a forum is not the best of ideas, but take a look at these other links:

As you will see from the above links Ernest is right in his comments. I also agree with Jim's comments that HP do seem to get terminology a bit confused within some of their utilities.
