U320 HBA Domain Validation settings in BIOS
The part is: HP U320 64bit Single Channel SCSI G2 Host Bus Adapter (374654-B21)
And my question is, is there any documentation of how to get in this card's BIOS and how to set the Domain Validation settings? what to choose, Full or One? and what the difference is? This is the LSI model and my customer is trying to attach a tape drive library to it.
The info that I got is refering me to SCSI HDDs monitoring of performance.. seems to me that the Domain Validation is some kind of online monitoring system that send alerts when teh performance of any of the HDDs on the same bus is running at less than the aloowed by the user or what he set on the Domain Validation thresholds settings.
regards.
