U320 HDD and PL1850R

Hi all,

I have a PL1850 with 1" disk cage and
embedded RAID controller. Does anyone knows if it supports the new U320 1" HDD?
Any firmware/driver update is required?

Hi Tony;

As long as the drive fits in the cage it should work.

It's always a good idea to update firmware, but you don't necessarily have to.

If you add the drive and the controller doesn't recognize it properly, then a firmware upgrade is probably in order.
