UID on BL20p G3 servers

I have interested problem on several BL20p G3 servers. UID led is always ON. I can control the state with iLO and Web Management Agents. When I turn UID ON the led is very bright but when I turn it OFF the led is only a little less bright. You have to look very closely to see that there is a slight difference between ON and OFF. We have two enclosures with 10 servers and the problem is on three of them.

They should still be under warranty. Sounds like a service issue.

I understand tha this is a known problem with some revisions of one of the components. (Not sure which one it is.)

I just got done entering warranty cases for 7 of these.
