URGENT-Redhat4.0 Update3 install problem on DL320G5p
Hello,
I need to install Redhat 4.0 update3 on a DL320 G5p. However, Redhat keeps prompting me to select Raid/Sata drivers.
I downloaded latest HP SmartSetup 8.10 but the cd does not show any option to prepare the disk for Redhat. Anyone knows how to upload the appropriate driver?
Intel Xeon
intel 82801GR SATA Controller Embedded
Warm regards,
Neecharl

hi
you need to load driver manually using a floppy
and "linux dd" command
link for driver

Re: URGENT-Redhat4.0 Update3 install problem on DL320G5p
Hello Karlo,
I have saved the 5 files in 5 different floppydisks. Redhat tries to read the floppy but will not accept them.
Is ther eanything to do be done with the RPM files?
warm regards,
Neecharl
