USB PCI adapter woring in DL760G2 with W2K server ?
Hallo, has anyone succeeded in getting an USB PCI card working with a Proliant DL760G2 running Windows 2000 Server ?
Our experience is that when the cpqphp drivers are loaded, the USB card is disabled. When the server (W2K) is installed using smartstart (v7) Windows does not see the USB card.
When W2K is instaled without smartstart the USB card is recognized but it does not register any USB devices hat are connected i.e. a HASP dongle.
Has any

Hi William,
Hp is not providing any usb card support on server infact usb device spport is less it's for mouse/keyboard/cd rom, that too with specific server with specific bios. Where if you have a card what are it specifications so we can try some other option on same.

Re: USB PCI adapter woring in DL760G2 with W2K server ?
Hallo Prashant,
My problem is solved, I loaded the new BIOS ROMpaq that came available today (26/05/2005. Once this new BIOS was installed W2k recognised my USB devices.
Thank you for your feed back.
regards.
