USB Supported Boot Disk for a DL360 G3 and DL380 G3
Hi,
I am am after a USB supported boot disk for a DL360 G3 and DL380 G3 server. I have tried the a few third party boot disk creation utilities but with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Glenn

Re: USB Supported Boot Disk for a DL360 G3 and DL380 G3
I don't think Dl360 G3 support boot from USB, Dl380 G3 don't support for sure. However more about USB see from page

Re: USB Supported Boot Disk for a DL360 G3 and DL380 G3
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I won't be needing to boot from USB, but I am after a DOS boot disk with USB1.1 drivers so I can Ghost my server to a USB external hard drive.
Any ideas?
Glenn

Re: USB Supported Boot Disk for a DL360 G3 and DL380 G3
Ghost 8.x (Corporate) is able to write to USB drives directly - No driver required.
Just plug in the USB device, then boot off a floppy, then run GHOST.EXE.
It can see the USB drive.
I dont know whether the workstations versions have the same feature.
