USB keyboard to manage BIOS

Hi,

Is it possible to use a USB keyboard to configure BIOS settings?
Even it that means first connecting a PS2 keyboard to enable it.

I'm using a DL380 G6.

Regards

Yes, it is possible.

I don't think you need a PS2 keyboard first: the legacy compatibility feature for USB keyboards is usually enabled by default.

Re: USB keyboard to manage BIOS

Thank you for your answer.

I've tracked down the issue, it looks that composite USB devices, like the Dell keyboard with integrated SmartCard Reader are not accepted during boot. A regular USB keyboard works in fact...

I wonder if a keyboard with USB hub would work, and if this shall be corrected by HP...
