Ultra2/Ultra3 SCSI Drive Cage Option Kit (2 x 1² ) - DL380/1850R
We have a DL380 that uses the Ultra2/Ultra3 SCSI Drive Cage Option Kit (2 x 1² ) part number: 157007-B21
I was wondering if the same unit for the 1850R would work (part #: 388255-B21)
The 1850R and DL380 chassis wise are almost the same unit. It seems the only difference between the DL380's and 1850R's Drive cage is part numbering.
Anyone know if this would work? We are having trouble locating the DL380's, but the 1850Rs can be found everywhere, at a much lower cost as well

If I am not mistaken, the 1850 is only Ultra2 rated (40Mb/sec).

Re: Ultra2/Ultra3 SCSI Drive Cage Option Kit (2 x 1² ) - DL380/1850R
That would be ok as the 2 drives we want to add are for storage and temp space only. We do not need the ultra speeds for files that will get basicaly just archived.
