Unable to Boot to Intelligent Provisioning (DL360p Gen8)
Server: ProLiant DL360p Gen 8
Intelligent Provisioning: 1.70.63
ROM: P71 07/01/2015
iLO: 2.60 May 23 2018
I am trying to boot to Intelligent Provisioning. After hitting F10 during POST, a blank screen with a flashing cursor appears briefly, the server beeps twice, then moves on to booting the normal OS (Windows Server 2012R2).
Attempting to enter IP by hitting F10 during POST and setting IP as the One-Time Boot Option in iLO produce the same result.
I have re-flashed Intelligent Provisioning with no change.
I have cleared NVRAM with no change.
I have verified that Intelligent Provisioning is enabled in RBSU.
Any other ideas that anyone can give me would be appreciated. I'll provide any additional information needed. Thanks!

Re: Unable to Boot to Intelligent Provisioning (DL360p Gen8)
Do you see any issue regarding embedded flash if you go to the ILO and ILO-Diagnostics page?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

No, there aren't any indications of issues with NAND/Embedded Flash. There were problems previously after trying to update IP, but then I erased NVRAM via iLO and it resolved the error message. Re-installed IP 1.70 after that.

Actually, logging into iLO 4 this morning does display that error message. Odd.

Re: Unable to Boot to Intelligent Provisioning (DL360p Gen8)
Click to format the NAND.
In most cases you need to pull the power plugs of the server, otherwise it will not format the NAND.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Unable to Boot to Intelligent Provisioning (DL360p Gen8)
I formatted the NAND (including pulling the power plugs from both PSU's) and re-installed IP 1.70 from virtual media.
Server still accepts F10 input, then boots to the OS like it did before. Still stuck at square one I'm afraid.

Re: Unable to Boot to Intelligent Provisioning (DL360p Gen8)
This is still a problem even after formatting NAND (and unplugging power supplies fully for it.) Any other recommendations?
