Unable to change boot order via ipmitool
I've tried to change boot order with ipmitool like commands below, but node still tries to boot from disk as i set before(using BIOS). ProLiant servers don't support the following ipmitool function?
root@bl460cGen8 ~ # ipmitool -I lanplus -H <iLO IPaddress> -U 0000 -P 0000 chassis bootdev cdrom
Set Boot Device to cdrom
root@bl460cGen8 ~ # ipmitool -I lanplus -H <iLO IPaddress> -U 0000 -P 0000 chassis bootdev floppy
Set Boot Device to floppy
root@bl460cGen8 ~ # ipmitool -I lanplus -H <iLO IPaddress>-U 0000 -P 0000 chassis bootdev pxe
Set Boot Device to pxe

Re: Unable to change boot order via ipmitool
Hi.
I am not sure which server model and impi version you are referring to, but you may refer to these two links for more information.
