Unable to crate partition with RAID5 HP DL380 G7
HP Proliant DL380 G7 running 600x6 2.7 TB drives in a RAID 5 config. During the Windows 2008 r2 64 bit install, It would show my Drive as 2 unallocated volumes off the same disk 0, 1st was about 2 TB and the remaining 700gb+ on the 2nd. I was not able to create a partition on this 2nd volume.

You know, a BIOS based system cannot handle boot drives larger than 2TB, the G7 is not a UEFI based system.
Better configure a much smaller logical drive for the OS, a bigger for your data, but keep the boot drive smaller than 2TB.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
