Unable to enter RBSU. No F9 prompt showing
We have three DL380 servers, RBSU version somewhere in 2001. No F9 prompt shows when we reboot the machines, only F8 & F10 for iLO and disk utilities. Is there an on-board switch or something else we have unwittingly switched off? This is quite urgent so any help very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kieran

Re: Unable to enter RBSU. No F9 prompt showing
Kieran:
Are these Generation 1 DL380's?
If so, they do not have an RBSU. They likely have a System Partition (Press F10) and you can use the System Configuration Utility to configure the server. If you need to change advanced features from within the SCU, just press A.
If you press F10 and the system comes back stating no system partiton found, then the server was not built with one.
You can use the SCU from your SmartStart CD or from the diskette version, here:

Hope this helps! -john
