Unable to install PSP 7.90 on DL360 G4 with SQL 2005

Hi,
I'm having a problem installing PSP 7.90 on a DL 360 G4 with MS Windows Server 2003 SP1 and SQL 2005 Standard (installed with PSP 7.60 at the moment).
Each time I start the setup on the server and click next on the Local Host, at step 2, I get an error saying :
An unhandled win32 exception occurred in hpsum_disagnt.exe. (see picture acctached).
I don't know what to do about it.

did you get the same error installing PSP 7.8?


just in case go to task manager and eliminate any activity that can be bothering PSP installation

I didn't try to install PSP 7.8... I'm going from 7.6 to 7.9

setup.exe

setupex.exe

or you already try both?

I only tried Setup.exe

I checked on another server (my main AD server that doesn't have SQL 2005 and is also installed with 7.60) and I have the same error but with more details.

I found these errors in the application eventviewer in chronological order:

1) Faulting application hpsum_discagnt.exe, version 2.2.0.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.1830, fault address 0x00038fa7.

I tried to start it on another server (Application server) and I don't get any error........ AND THE DLL IS EXACTLY THE SAME (Version and size)......

I tried to copy the DLL from my working server and it doesn't change anything.

in just in case if you have any attached device disconnected like tape or something

a few minutes ago I tried installing psp 7.9 in one of my server dl360 g4p I got no issues...

As always, I'm going to face a problem that nobody else has on his server :(
Well, if I don't find the solution, I'll stick to 7.60... It's not a big deal at the moment. I don't know what 7.90 will bring me anyway.
