Unable to pre-install SATA RAID controller driver in ML110 G5
I have a server running Microsoft Small Business Server in which there are two hard disks set up in a software RAID array. I would like to convert this into a hardware raid. Before changing the hardware configuration I need to pre-install the driver so that when the backup is restored the OS will recognize the sata controller. However when I attempt to install the driver it gives the following message:-
The software will not be installed on this system because the required hardware is not present in the system or the software/firmware doesn't apply to this system.
Press 'Close' to exit Setup.
The link to the driver is HP Embedded G5 SATA RAID Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003.
How can I get around this?
Thanks, Chris.
