Unattended NT 4 install / NIC Drivers
Hi all,
I'm trying to install a Proliant DL360 under NT 4 with an unattended way (udf.txt / unattend.txt). It seems that the bi-port NIC NC3163 is not installed properly. However it works fine with a DL380 and the same NIC Card (but it's a single port). Does anyone tried successfully this installation method ?
Thanks for any response.

Re: Unattended NT 4 install / NIC Drivers
Hi,
the reason you are having problems is the NC series nics have intel chipsets but compaq bios's so it will pick up both...during a normal install you would uncheck the intel option...during an unattended install unless you can write a batch file to go with it that will uncheck the intel and only choose the compaq nic you will have to post install remove the nic card and manually reinstall the driver...when the two cards (intel and compaq) come up..uncheck the intel and keep the compaq nic checked
