Unclear on 5500R scsi?

Hello,

I am firing up an old Proliant 5500R. When I looked at the drives before setting up from scratch it showed raid on two or more drives. I have recreated the system partition and copied the files to the new system partition. When I try to run the array cfg. I receive a message stating there is no controller. I have opened the box and there are no markings on the controller but based on what I saw in Windows I believe I should be able to setup an array. Would anyone be able to provide some insight?
