Unexpected shutdown

I have HP Proliant ML 370 G5 Server and it often shutdown Unexpectedly. when I opened the event viewer I found an event "The system has rebooted from a Automated system Recovery"(ASR)
I want my Server to work properly.
If any one can help

Hi,

You do not mention what your O.S. is.

If your system got recovered, then your server is working properly.
The only reason I can think of why you would want to prevent your system from rebooting is because you want to further research a BSOD.
If that's the case, you could disable automatic reboots this way:
start - run - sysdm.cpl - Advanced tab - Startup and recovery settings - uncheck the automatically restart box at System failure.

You should be aware that when automatically reboot is set you still get a memory.dmp file to analyze.

My Operating system is windows server2003 enterprise edition and I did this action and uncheck the automatically restart at system failure but the problem still exist.
if any one can help please.

Kindly check the temperature settings. This happened to my servers also and we got an update patch of BIOS from HP
