Unknown BMC password
I have inherited 6 DL145 G2 servers. I need to have access to the BMC's and unfortunately, I don't have the admin passwords, and the individual I inherited them from in the company is no longer with us, so I have no way of getting them from that individual.
I found the workaround of downgrading or upgrading the BMC firmware to reset to the default settings. That didn't work. I then tried the suggested workaround of using the ipmitool to reset the password, that didn't work either.
Anyone have any other ideas besides replace the system boards. They are no longer on HP support or warranty. If the system board is the only way, then I will have to shut this project down for now, as there is no more funds in the budget.
