Unsupported speed processor defined - Proliant 1600

Hi: We have a Proliant 1600. My old power supply was down. I was change the new power supply, when the same part number. When started the proliant 1600, appears de Compaq logo, and after, say: Unsoported speed processor defind. System halted.

Please, Do you help me??.

I haven't seen a Proliant 1600 in several years but have worked with that and other models. On the top cover, either inside or outside should be a diagram of the system board and jumper blocks. On my 2500 and 5000s I can change the speed via these jumpers. You may have inadvertently changed one of these jumper blocks while swapping power supplies. Find your jumper block and verify the positions of each so it matches the speed / processor installed.
