Update to PSP 7.30 not completely possible
We have a big environment of mixed PL server models and encountered a problem with an installed component within VCA. The component "HP ProLiant Smart Array Device Manager Extension for Windows 2000/Server 2003" is installed with version 5.4.0.32 and the PSP 7.30 tries to install version 5.8.0.32 but without success. How can we get the devices into a green status without displaying them always as a degraded item in SIM ? Is it possible to uninstall the component and doing a clean install afterwards ?

Re: Update to PSP 7.30 not completely possible
we copied the file "cpqcissm.dll" to the system32 directory and got a green status now. I know it's not a clean workaround, but it satisfies the controllers. ;-)

Re: Update to PSP 7.30 not completely possible
hello,
by us we have the same problem (still!!) and to copy the dll-file solved the yellow problem in sim.
can it be, that this is so simple? does this not decrease the functionality of the driver? does nobody know, how to uninstall the software? or better how to get the newest sw installed?
thanks for helping getting better quality on system-status!!
