Hi,
I have a c7000 Bladecenter and after upgrading my OA, I upgraded all machines running windows to ILO2 1.42. How can I update this on my ESX 3.01 machine?
Thanks,
Christian

Solution
Hi Christian,
Ur question is you are unable to find it for ESX what i will suggest is when u download for windows u just extract the .exe file and take the "iLO2_150.bin" ( this is original firmware) and flash it using iLO gui or ssh to iLO.
I believe u can easily upgrade it using iLO gui. steps are:
1) log in to iLO
2) go to Administration page browse and give ur new firmware location which u just extracted from EXE ( this is a .bin file)
3) Click send f/w image. done.
Note: Latest iLO f/w is 1.50 so better u do that. :-)

Re: Updating ILO2 Firmware on ESX Server
How about if your iLo is inaccessible? Is there a way to update the iLo2 firmware on the ESX hosts?
