Updating ROM BIOS on DL180 G6

Hi all,

I'm going to update the System BIOS on my DL180 G6 (currently O20-07/28/2009) with last available version (01/24/2011) but according to support communication c02773586 HP recommends updating the BMC firmware first, but I'm not able to find last firmware for BMC. Where can I find it?

Another doubt: there are available for download two different versions:
- Systems ROMPaq Firmware upgrade (SP51813.EXE)
- Online ROM Flash component for Windows x64 (cp014504.exe)
Which is the difference between them?

Hi,

You should be looking for the Lights Out Firmware, under firmware management. This is what they mean by BMC on the advisory.
