Upgrade Processor ML110 G5

I have a ML110 G5 running an Intel® Xeon® Dual-Core processor E3110.  I want to upgrade it with an Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core processor X3370.  Would I be able to do this?

Re: Upgrade Processor ML110 G5

Hi,

The HP ProLiant ML110 G5 is now available with higher performance processors (quad-core up to 3.0GHz and dual-core up to 3.16GHz) resulting in better processing power.

You should be able to perform the upgrade of the CPU. Please check the following links:

Hi,

You should be able to do this.  The server ML110 G5 supports Dual Core and Quad Core processors according to the quick specs.

Before upgrading the processor, make sure the BIOS is up to date.
