Upgrade RAID1 hard drive on Proliant ML110 G4

Hi, experts

IтАЩve got a HP Proliant ML110 G4 raid1 server with Windows Server 2003 Small Business Edition. It has two 160G Seagate hard drives, however, it is running out space, so I bought two new Western Digital 500G drives to replace them.
I have read a few threads which recommend this method: swap one drive each time and rebuild Raid1. For example:

http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1232858971126+28353475&threadId=1015513

It certainly works on HP Proliant DL models, I am just wondering if it works on Ml models. Anyone knows?

One more thing, how long does it usually take to rebuild a Raid1? Some thread say it may take over 10 hours or more. Any ideas to speed it up???

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,Karlo

I was just looking at that thread.
So if I cannot do this way, is the following plan visable?
Break the raid1, clone the old disk to the new one and rebuild the RAID1.
