My Proliant 800(400 Mhz/512 RAM) works fine on NT4SP6 but my client need a mail-server solution, so I thin about SBE 2003 because it's powerfull & cheap...

Is anybody have tested this solution ???

The ProLiant 800 does not have bios support for Win2003. That is not to say that you cannot install the O/S on the server.

You will have to manually install all the drivers for the NIC, SCSI, RAID, etc...

32bit SCSI Controller:

64bit SCSI Controller:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17321.html

NetFlex/Netelligent NIC:

NC31xx FastEthernet NIC:

Here is a link to download the RAID drivers you need:

Here is the software download for Win2K:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1131.html

You should update the bios on your server to the latest version to make sure and capture the APIC updates.

Here are the QuickSpecs on the PL800 PII model:

Hope this gets you going, you are blazing a lonely path.
Enjoy!
