Upgrade hard disk on DL320 g5 from raid 72gb to 250gb

Our server has already installed two 72GB Sata harddisk.
Our planning is to upgrade to two 250GB harddisk.

I have done this procedure:

i had unplug one of thr 72gb HD, after i plug in one of 250gb HD and i rebuild the array with a 72 gb and a 250gb HD
after that i have plug in the second 250 gb HD and i rebuild the array with two 250gb HD, but now i have one array of 72 gb and i can't allocate the other free space in the arry controller menu and on windows i see only 72gb disk.

on another dl 360 when i plug in the second 250gb HD the raid controller say to me " would you like to allocate the free space?" and after that i had one array of 250GB and on windows i had the possibility to allocate the free space in a new partition

Does any know how to do so to upgrade to 250GB arry?
or additional with a seperate 220GB partition?

or the only possibility is to do a ghost of 72gb disk and restore on 250gb disk?
:(

Many thanks!!

The DL320 G5 comes by default with a 2 Port SATA Controller, which is very simple and does not support hot-plug disks, drive LEDs, RAID level migration or logical unit expansion.
You need a more advanced controller, like the optional Smart Arrays for that.
