Does anyone have a link to the possible memory upgrades for this server (PID 470063-433 XEON 3GHz model). It currently has 2 x 512Mo DDR2 PC2-3200 (PN 354112-051) and I want to see the valid combinations.
Have tried 4 x 512Mo (PN 354112-051) and the server no longer boots. Could be a problem with the memory.
Cheers,

Get hold of 2 x 1024MB instead.
512MB - lower demand compared to 1024MB, could be hard to get in future ...
2048MB still too expensive :)
Thanks

Re: Upgrade memory ML350 G4p
In fact one of the DIMM was faulty so HP will replace it.
Since there are 8 slots on the motherboard, I'm surprised that other memory combinations are not supported. Will 4 x 512Mo work?

Re: Upgrade memory ML350 G4p
The validated combinations consist of 1 or 2 DIMS. Why then are there 6 slots?
