Upgrade of HP-ML110 Pentium Dual Core

Hi There,
Right now we have an HP-ML 110 Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.8ghz E2160 with 4GB RAM. Can we upgrade the processors to a Quad Core? What is the maximum possible upgrade for the processor?

i think you cannot do this, but i'm not sure.

i think the minimum socket for a quad core is different from yours.

anyway you have to look at your socket model (it's on the MB) and look for intel 4core models that supports that socket.

Hi
I dont no the generation of your server but if your server is ML110 with no generation sign you can use this :
Celeron Processor 2.6-GHz/400 MHz Front Side Bus, Factory Integration only
359090-L21
├В
Pentium Processor 3.00-GHz/ 800 MHz Front Side Bus, Factory Integration only

Pentium Processor 3.20-GHz/ 800 MHz Front Side Bus, Factory Integration only

I'd look out for a quad-core AMD ML115 G5 server on end-of-month discount, it would almost certainly be cheaper than attempting an upgrade of the 110.
