Upgrade to DL380

Hi, I remember reading somewhere that there was an upgrade option for Proliant 1850r Model 6/400 or 6/450 to a DL380.

So two questions really, if this kit does exist can I use it on a PIII 550Mhz model or is it just for the PII models?

Secondly, what does the kit contain?

There is no kit that can get your processor up to over 1 GHz. The switch settings on the systemboard will allow you to go as high as a 600 MHZ processor. It will require a different PPM or voltage regualtor.
