Upgrade to processor on ML350
Added a 2nd processor to an ML350 G2 1266mhz.
On boot up the server gave an error saying that we did not have a backup second power pack. I stopped boot up just in case it caused further problems.
Does anyone know whether this error was just for information or whether we do need to purchase a backup power pack?
Thanks for any help offered.
Julie

Re: Upgrade to processor on ML350
Did the server give you a POST Error Number?
What was the exact message given at boot?
