Upgraded SA6402 fails to flash new firmware on new EM
We recently upgraded a SA6402 adding an additional 2 channels with the Expansion Module (in practice it becomes a 6404 just with less cache). The EM has fw 2.80 while the 6402 has 2.84 (latest) so we wanted to upgrade it as they ought to be the same. However launching the upgrade fails reporting that the required hardware is not found. The system correctly recognizes both cards and they are reported in the SM Homepage and they both see the external MSA20 enclosures and their respective volumes.
I suspect the flash update utility has a bug in recognizing the "new" dual 6402 setup (they simply appear as 2 host controllers sharing one PCI slot) or something similar. Is there any known workaround to update the firmware? The are installed on a Windows 2008 64bit system.
Thanks for any feedback.

Re: Upgraded SA6402 fails to flash new firmware on new EM
Make sure you have the latest BIOS and drivers installed for your system.
SA6404 W2008 x64 drivers:

Check your system model type for slot restrictions in the installation and supported options guides for your server.
Which upgrade method are you using, Firmware CD or Online?
