Upgrading ML370 from NT4 to W2003

Hi
I need to upgrade some ML370's to Windows 2003.
I want to do a clean install but keep the data that is on drives d,e etc. I can't find any instructions re how to do this.
If I use the 2003 cd it doesn't recognise the raid controller. If I use smart start it wipes all data on all drives.
I guess there's some info and drivers avalable somewhere so can anyone give me some advice please ?
