Upgrading hard drives

From a UK user. Our Server has two 9.1 Gb hard drives (mirrored) and we need to increase the storage capacity. We intend to go RAID 5 so what would be the largest size drives that can be fitted. Will we need to upgrade any of the the other hardware or firmware

Re: Upgrading hard drives

Here are the sizes and description of the hard drives. Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 ? Hot Plug
36.4-GB Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Drive 10,000 rpm (1.6? ) 128420-B21
36.4-GB Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Drive (1.6? ) 400740-B21
With these hard drives being 1.6 inches you will only be able to add in 4 per drive cage. You might have to upgrade the firmware on the Array controller. You won't know until you add in the drives.
We are here for a good time, not a long time!
