Upgrading optical drive in ML 350p Gen8?

I just downloaded an evaluation copy of Windows Sever 2016 (and 2019 - why not?) for my upcoming ML 350p G8 server. The ISO is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and it doesn't fit on a standard DVD. Can I upgrade the optical drive to a newer unit that supports higher capacity discs like dual layer DVDs, M-DISC, BD-R, etc?

My gaming rig has a LG branded BD drive and I didn't think twice when I installed it. It just worked. I'm a little paranoid about compatibility with the Gen 8 server since it is a bit older than whatever drive I would be getting today.

The ML350p Gen8 server is compatible with any SATA DVD drive. Please verify & proceed to install the desired drive.

@DANDKSI installed a LG branded DVD-DL drive and it worked perfectly.
