Use 802.3ad team for Win2K3 server on DL380 G3 & HP2524 switch

Hi there,

Intending to use 802.3ad, what version of driver and utilities are needed for DL380 G3 and what are the configurations to match LAN switch?

Download and install the latest supportpaq for the server.

Then using the HP Network Configuration Utility.

You would create a team and select 'switch assisted load balancing' for 802.3ad support.

Hi Rocl,

the link sent by Steve is great...got almost all you need.

a point that I would like to highlight, create the Multi Link Trunk on your switch before you setup SLB team on your Windows host. Also check the load balancing algorithm used at the switch level.
