Using HP ProLiant BL20p G3 S direct pc to ilo connection
Can someone please provide me with instructions on using the direct pc to ilo connection on the Hp Local I/O cable - SUVI dongle, part number 355935-001. I have not done this type of connection from a laptop to the BL20p G3 Blade before.
Thanks in advance
Jerry

Re: Using HP ProLiant BL20p G3 S direct pc to ilo connection
The Local I/O Cable can be connected to the front I/O Port available on the blade. The RJ45 port on the I/O cable would need to be connected to the Laptop NIC.
The default IP address is 192.168.1.1 for all ILO diagnostic ports. You may configure the laptop to have an IP of the same class/subnet.For ex. set Laptop IP to 192.168.1.2 and subnet mask as 255.255.255.0
You can try pinging and open the ILO under browser as http://192.168.1.1 .Default user name and password comes on a Tag attached on the server.
