VFAT Error

Running 4 PIII Xeon processors, 2GB memory, P4 BIOS 12/99, during an install with Smart Start Version 5.1 or above, assisted or manual install, receive following message during install: "VFAT Device Initialization Failed. A device or resource required by VFAT is not present or is unavailable. VFAT cannot continue loading. System halted." Loading with 4.7 works fine, but then I end up running the 5.3 update - too time consuming, any ideas???

Re: VFAT Error

Hi, it seems to be connected to the ifslp.sys file that may be missing or corrupt. Try another smartstart cd this will eliminate to possiblility of a corrupt itshlp.sys
