Re: VLAN issue with latest NIC Driver
TOE is not just or teamed NICs.
Please refer my Previous posts(above) for the Command to disable it.
Also, Did u update the Firmwares ?
Using an OLD NCU "may" resolve it .. "may not"
Regards,
James.

Re: VLAN issue with latest NIC Driver
After downgrading the driver and the NCU, I cannot open NCU because "the virtual miniport (teaming) driver installed", needs NCU 8.70 minimum.
Do you know how to downgrade this driver. Downgrading the Proliant Support Pack did not work either.
Combinations of Driver and NCU that do not lose the MAC Address for the VLAN are:
- Driver 9.81 + NCU 8.15
- Driver 8.52 + NCU 8.15
Regards.

Re: VLAN issue with latest NIC Driver
We had the same problem: one Virtual adapter (we have 20) got the MAC Physical Address: 00-00-00-00-00-00 after a reboot. This problem occurs always after a reboot.
disable/enable solved it till next reboot.
We solved the problem to remove all the Virtual and Physical Adapter, boot the server and reconfigure all adapters again (also teaming enabled).
Till now we did'nt see the problem (one day, several restarts) anymore.
but...

Re: VLAN issue with latest NIC Driver
i'm glad to see that i'm not alone !
;)
i've heard from HP italy that this is a known issue that will be solved (we hope...) with the next Network Config Utility..... they suggested to use NCU 8.55 instead of 8.60 but i have not tried yet.....
i will try the solution suggested by you....
thank you
