Ventilateur du Cpu

Bonjour, j'ai un serveur hp proliant ml150 g3 , et j'ai remarqué que le ventilateur du processeur faisait un espèce de " rrrrr " en permanence . Je ne sais pas si c'est l'usure ou un bruit normal du fait qu'il tourne pour l'instant à vide sans Disque Dur .

Sorry to answer in english. I can read francais but my writing is not good enough.

Are you sure it is the CPU fan? There are three fans, CPU, cabinet and power supply.

Normally the ML150 is a very silent machine. Have you checked if possibly the wires to the CPU fan are touching the rotor?

Simple test: Open the cover and stop the fan (with your finger or a piece of cloth) for a second and you will know if it is the fan that creates the noise.

If nothing is touching the fan rotor and it is still noisy, then you will have to replace the fan...
