Version firmware NC3821i 1GBE of Prliant DL 360 G

Good morning,

is it possible to see the version du firmware of network card ( NC328i 1GbE) on proliant DL 360 G6 running on Linux Suse SLES 11 without  stopping the system.

I think I found the solution and I will instal the product : HP Version Control Agent for Linux  and HP ProLiant Support Pack for SUSE LINUX.

the SPP will fail to update these nic's if they are very old. you have to step through 3 firmwares to get all 3 portions to update.

the SPP will silently fail and not tell you it did not update (like ilo2) but if you run the .scexe you will see it fail when it tries to flash all three parts.

So i took 3 versions across the years and did a 3 step update rebooting in between each one and finally it would take the latest update.

What happens is 1 out of the 3 bits of the firmware will update, the rest will not. That is BAD mmkay
