Video seems to get worse with time

Have an Exchange 5.5 server running with the latest Service Packs. I'm running SD 4.8. Server comes up fine, but after a few days the video gets worse. After a week, I can't open a window on the desk top without having the screen go gray. Any ideas?

Are you using a KVM switch??
