W2K HA/F200 FABRIC SWITCHES SPM
We have provided a solution to one of our clients based on Compaq's HA/F200 strategy. we ordered the 380357-B22 HA/F200 Kit, as it specified in the World Wide Quick Specs that it would work over a 'fabric' SAN. In reality it does not, and Compaq have now released an updated kit (380357-B23) which also states support of the "Brocade Type" Fabric OS Switches. I need clarification that this is fully supported on the new kit, and why Compaq do not offer a Free of charge upgrade for the B22 kit, as it is they that have supplied this information. I am based in the United Kingdom, and this kit (380357-B23) cannot be supplied before Late July. Can this be supplied any quicker in the US? I do not believe that we should be charged for this upgrade, as the kit we purchased does make reference to FABRIC support, therefore it has been incorrectly marketed and should be taken back by Compaq.
