Hi

 

Is there any way to lookup the Warrantystatus of a Harddisk? We have a defective one, but have no idea how old this one is...

Try putting the serial number into the HP warranty checker  https://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/wc/home/?ac.admitted=1323342305977.876444892.492883150

Well you could try logging a call with HP for a replacement, then they'll tell you if you have entitlement ;)
