What happens when temperature threshold is reached.

Does anyone know what happends when the temperature gets to high.

I asked dutch support but they could not tell me what happends ???

Depends on the hardware but with servers they would shutdown and you would need to bring them back up when the room temperature has returned to normal.

The settings for this can be found on the systems management homepage for the server under the Enviroment section, the options are to shutdown or continue when the temperature threshold has been reached.

does this mean a total shutdown or does it go in a stanby modus. because i have seen the situation that the server was not reachable but was off and powerlight was blinking. and there where no events in any log about the shutdown.

As far as I am aware the server shuts down but does not completely power off.

Is this what you mean by 'Standby'.
