This is all 15 disks:

This is for a subset of the drive models (please check your drive model numbers against this website before using):

Re: Where can I find the ROM Update Utility by itself?
I dont know what do you intend to do but let's assume you want to upgrade the System ROM so here is the link:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17426.html
For the firmware of HDDs here is the link:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17149.html
The second softpaq required 10 disks but just make the first disk and once you COLD boot the system with it then you will be asked to get the other disks as per the hdds you have in the system. If you have any Array controller then let me know and I shall post the link for you.

Re: Where can I find the ROM Update Utility by itself?
I'd like to get the latest firmware rev, HPB6 for drive BD03685A24 that looks to be available in *.scexe format at
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/revision/7108.html
Are there diskettes available for this rev?

Re: Where can I find the ROM Update Utility by itself?
Since you're trying to upgrade the firmware of 36.4GB U320 hdd. This HDD is fairly new and there is no diskette version of firmware. The best way would be to order Smart Start 7.00 which is set of 4 discs and one of these CDs is strictly a Firmware CD. You can order the Ver 7.00 by calling 1-800-573-1099 or via Web.

Re: Where can I find the ROM Update Utility by itself?
For basic setup of your system you would require 5.50 but you can always do the updates with the 7.00 version. This will work for updates for sure.
