SolutionI'm angry for is it !
For example, Newer maked On-The-Go USB mini port for Serial.
Or, Supported by third party Serial Card.
I think that more than better way.
But, Why Gen9 is all lost external Serial port !
If you can advise for me iLo4's virtual serial port ?
It troublesome how to use ...(iLo's IP setup,SSH,iLo pass, vsp command ...)
I hope use Linux server operation just like a Network router console.

Re: Why Gen9 was lost Serial Port ?
I can't think of any current shipping servers from any of the major manufactures that still have a physical serial port. Most laptops and desktops don't have them either.
I generally plug in a USB serial adapterin the rare case that I need one.
This article is titled iLO3, but it is the same procodedure for iLO4

Re: Why Gen9 was lost Serial Port ?
Hi,Bart.
I Know optional choice serial port upper DL3xx Gen9 models.
But, I want lower models, example, DL60 Gen9.
(I tried DL360 Gen9 that can not only rent it now.)
Lower models Gen9 is nothing offical support to serial port.
And,Shared NIC1 and iLo4 (it was not changed),
I use usually from NIC1(= eth0 ) ,NIC 2 and NIC3. So, Mixed network traffic iLo and service system.
It mean was secure problem, because,iLO SSH traffic current to the service LAN(WAN).
If I have to use virtual serial on iLo4, Lot of many think about it.
